Riders step up to joint-top spot after road success
Durham Palatinates 57-72 Leicester Riders (9-21, 25-31, 40-58)
Leicester Riders warmed up for this weekend’s WBBL Betty Codona Trophy Final by climbing to the top of the WBBL Championship table alongside Saturday’s opponents Sevenoaks.
Riders were too strong for Durham Palatinates as they improved to a 16-1 record and put a dent in the Play-Off hopes of the rookie franchise.

Turning point – As Durham dragged themselves back into the contest at half-time when they cut the early deficit to just six points, Riders quickly re-established control. The visitors erupted during the third period and outscored Palatinates 27-15.
