All-Star Five – Week 10

It’s rare we get to include a trio of players from the same club, but the Eagles were on fire this past weekend, with one of their contingent posting the best efficiency valuation of the season.

Brea Elmore – Leicester Riders
The third appearance of the season in our line-up for Elmore came courtesy of an important victory for Riders as they bounced back from losing to Mystics with a win against Hatters. The guard was the inspiration and claimed a terrific 30 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks.

Mante Kvederaviciute – Newcastle Eagles
The Lithuanian standout didn’t just get our Top Performer of the Week accolade, she also posted the best performance efficiency valuation of the entire season at an amazing 40. She torched Oaklands for 31 points from 60% shooting, handed out a superb 13 assists, as well as 3 steals.

Chelsea Small – Essex Rebels
Essex went on the mammoth road trip to Scotland and emerged with their second win of the season thanks mainly to the efforts of Small, who led the way. She corralled an eye-catching 20 points and 12 rebounds in the contest, also adding 3 steals and a couple of assists.

Georgia Ohrdorf – Newcastle Eagles
There really is no stopping Ohrdorf right now and there is no more in-form player in the WBBL. She now has a fifth place in our line up and third in a row after cutting down Wolves with a massive 24-point and 13-rebound double-double, plus 3 precious steals to continue her hot streak.

Lisa Koop – Newcastle Eagles
The towering frontcourt star was too much for the Oaklands defence and came away from the Eagles’ road win with a stellar performance valuation of 35. That was down to Koop amassing a jaw-dropping 20 points and 21 boards, as well as 3 blocks and 2 assists.

Off the bench – Asha Thomas (FLT Peterman Sheffield Hatters), Samantha Roscoe (Manchester Mystics), Sian Phillips (Caledonia Pride), Tia Freeman (Nottingham Wildcats), Robyn Lewis (Cardiff Met Archers), Dee Hayward (Durham Palatinates).
