Archers, Palatinates and Mystics end Championship campaigns with wins as Hatters set up second place showdown

There were wins for Archers, Palatinates and Mystics as the trio concluded their Championship campaigns, while the Hatters remain in contention for the runner-up position in the table.

Carsi Silva’s 18 points were enough to lift Cardiff Met Archers past Caledonia Pride 53-39 and into a tenth place finish. Meanwhile, Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters ensured the race for second place will go down to the wire thanks to a 76-66 showing against Essex Rebels on the road, led by Sarah Toeaina’s 26 points and 16 rebounds.

Durham Palatinates secured fifth place in the standings after beating Oaklands Wolves 92-69 on the road, as Monika Bosilj produced 29 points for the visitors. Finally, Manchester Mystics overcame Newcastle Eagles 81-79 after overtime to earn fourth position. The heroics came from Rachel James, who led her team with 22 points including two crucial triples late on.
