Gloucester City Queens have announced their newest member of the 2021-22 roster in the form of Inma Bautista.
The Spanish guard has spent three seasons at Worcester Wolves in WNBL Divisions One & Two and now Bautista will make the step-up to the professional game with the Queens.
“I am so grateful for this opportunity to develop as a player and I have to thank Jay for trusting me,” said Bautista.
“I am really excited for this new challenge and I can’t wait to compete at a high level. I have a very positive feeling about this new project and I’m confident that myself and the team will make a significant impact in this upcoming season.”
A delighted CEO of Gloucester Sport, Jay Marriott added, “I think she is ready for the challenge of the WBBL and will definitely strengthen the way we want to play.
“She has a high basketball IQ so we have had some great conversations on what it means to become a Queens player. She will be an important piece of the puzzle for us.”
Queens have already announced Marlee Ball, Layla Hall and Melita Emanuel-Carr ahead of the new season.
