Sevenoaks Suns have enjoyed another historic campaign and it’s an awards double for them after Cat Carr was crowned Molten WBBL MVP for 2017-18.
The accolade, voted for by all WBBL clubs, comes in the wake of play-caller Len Busch taking the Ed Percival Molten WBBL Coach of the Year gong.
Carr has had another outstanding season, picking up where she left off in 2016-17 when she finished as MVP of the Play-Off Final at The 02.
Yet again her do-it-all style and leadership provided the thrust to propel Sevenoaks to yet more new ground as they lifted the WBBL Championship title for the very first time.
A runaway winner in the voting, Carr put up some excellent numbers across the WBBL Championship season to highlight her influence in all facets of the game. She averaged 15.3 points, 6 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game.
The guard will be looking to finish the campaign in style on Sunday, when she plays in the 2018 WBBL Play-Off Final at The 02, with the clash against Leicester Riders live on BBC Sport at 1pm.
