Kate Oliver led Leicester Riders to a second consecutive Betty Codona WBBL title, with an MVP showing.
The forward netted 16 points, to go along with eight rebounds and five blocks, and proved pivotal on both ends of the floor for the Trophy winners.
“It’s amazing – it feels good,” Oliver said after the buzzer.
“We knew that they were gonna come out fighting so we had to come out even harder and I think we did a great job.
“They were not getting roll over and let us take the Championship so we had to fight all the way through.
“Definitely going to help us through the last few rounds of the Regular Season and hopefully we can do this again at the end of the year [in the Play-Offs].
“This is what we play for – all these people here – amazing exposure and great fun to be out there.”
