Essex Rebels have re-signed captain Andrea Kohlhaas for her third season in the WBBL.
Andrea came in to the programme two years ago after graduating from San Jose State University, playing in the NCAA Division One, finishing ninth in the programme history for her three point percentage.
Her second season in the WBBL did not disappoint with her numbers and efficiency improving in all areas. She averaged just under 15 points a game last season and established herself as one of the league’s best scorers, finishing ninth overall in three points made.
Combining with Essex Rebels teammate Ashleigh Munns, Kohlhaas and Munns became one of the league’s most exciting duo’s during last season, securing the team’s best ever league finish and securing Play-Offs qualification.
“It is great to have Andrea back signing for her third season with the Essex Rebels,” said Tom Sadler, Head Coach for the basketball programme at Essex Rebels.
“Andrea, as captain, brings a wealth of experience to the team as well as solid leadership and will look to lead the team building on the successes of last season.”
