Kennedy Leonard broke her own record for assists in a single game this afternoon, as she inspired the London Lions to a dominant victory over Gloucester City Queens.

Her stat-line was mind-blowing, as she dropped 16 points for her team as well as contributing an incredible 22 assists, along with five rebounds, six steals and a block too.

Cassie Breen and Shanice Beckford-Norton were also on hot form, as they dropped 23 points and 21 points respectively, despite starting from the bench and playing a combined 45 minutes between them.

The Queens struggled with the intensity and quality that the Lions possessed on offence, as the home team went on an outrageous 48-point scoring run, with the visitors finding it difficult particularly in the third quarter where they failed to register a single point.

Marlee Ball led the scoring for the Queens with 14 points, with Melita Emanuel-Carr just behind her with 11.
