Sevenoaks Suns retained their Play-Off title thanks to an impressive display that saw them overcome Leicester Riders 69-44 at The O2 – led by MVP Cat Carr.

The Suns collected their fourth title in two years, the club’s consecutive double, having already secured Championship honours at the end of April.

Turning point – Sevenoaks exploded out of the gates, racing out to an 18 point advantage by half-time. The Suns put on a defensive clinic in the first 20 minutes, holding the usually free-scoring Leicester Riders to just 22 first-half points.

Key stat – The Suns defence proved key as the team held the Riders to just 25% shooting from the field and only 16% from three.
