Oaklands Wolves created buzz for the new campaign with a day of signing announcements as they look to make a splash this season.
Last season: Oaklands missed out on a place in the Semi-Finals of the Trophy with a 1-1 record in pool play and were heavily beaten by Durham in the last eight of the Cup.
The Wolves were a single victory adrift of the top eight in the regular season having picked up just four wins from their 16 games before the cancellation.
Back again: Lizzy Harrison and Lauren Milligan are key pieces for the Wolves and will play important roles in nurturing the young talent on the roster. Louise Rouse is a highly rated prospect and is joined in returning with Under-18 duo Jocie Leavold and Grace Ashton.
Hungarian duo Kata Fulop and Dorka Boros also continue their spells with Oaklands as part of the returning core.
New faces: Oaklands have recruited American guard Amari Carter out of Arizona with the point guard highly rated in high school.
Estonian junior international Greeta Uprus signs for her first season overseas, while former Cardiff guard Merisa Quick makes a return to the league to add scoring punch to the Wolves.
Meanwhile, Sophie Beard and Daisy Porter make the step up from the academy, while fellow youngster Kizzy Spence-Mussington joins from Manchester.
Outlook: Oaklands are yet to have a winning league record since they joined in 2016, but do have Play-Offs experience and have a good shot at making it back into the post-season.
